QB Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills
Lamar Jackson is getting all the buzz for his rushing prowess, and Allen is doing the same thing. In Week 12 against the Jaguars, Allen had 13 carries for 99 yards with a rushing score and passed for 160 yards with a touchdown. On Sunday against the Dolphins, Allen rushed for 135 yards on nine carries and passed for 231 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions. Allen has been a QB1 the last two weeks and has the Jets, Lions and the Patriots up next.
RB Jeff Wilson, San Francisco 49ers
It seemed strange to see Matt Breida not getting many touches on Sunday against the Seahawks. We found out after the game that Breida aggravated his ankle injury that has bothered him most of the season in pregame warmups and it got worse during the game. Wilson looked good with 15 carries for 61 yards and caught eight passes for 73 yards.

RB Jaylen Samuels, Pittsburgh Steelers
The early reports indicated the injury to starting running back James Conner isn’t severe. Coach Mike Tomlin said it’s a lower leg contusion. His status for Week 14 is still unknown, and the Steelers have a favorable matchup against the Raiders. The FAAB column has mentioned handcuffing your top running backs over the last few weeks, and Samuels was one of the back specifically mentioned. Samuels has eligibility at tight end on Yahoo! making it more imperative to have him there.
RB Justin Jackson, Los Angeles Chargers
Austin Ekeler got most of the touches early, but Jackson was used late and looked good. He had eight carries for 63 yards with a touchdown and caught one pass for 19 yards. Ekeler played 48 snaps, and Jackson played 14. There’s a chance Melvin Gordon returns in Week 14, but it’s more likely he sits until the Thursday night game against the Chiefs in Week 15. Jackson has a great matchup in Week 14 against the Bengals if Gordon is out.
WR Dante Pettis, San Francisco 49ers
Pettis has emerged with the absence of Pierre Garcon and Marquise Goodwin. Pettis has at least six targets in three straight games. He had four catches for 77 yards with a touchdown in Week 12 against the Buccaneers and caught five passes for 129 yards with two touchdowns on seven targets against the Seahawks on Sunday. The rookie runs good routes and is quick. The 49ers are in evaluation mode, and Pettis should continue to play a lot of snaps.
WR Curtis Samuel, Carolina Panthers
Samuel still played a significant role with Devin Funchess back. Funchess was limited by a back injury and played 32 snaps, while D.J. Moore played 66 snaps and Samuel 58. Samuel is a playmaker, and the Panthers are finding a way to get the ball in his hands. Samuel has at least nine points in PPR formats in three straight games. He had six catches for 88 yards on 11 targets on Sunday against the Buccaneers.
TE Ian Thomas, Carolina Panthers
Greg Olsen is out for the season, and Thomas will start at tight end. The rookie was quiet when Olsen missed time earlier in the season, but the Panthers defense is struggling, and they are forced to pass more. Thomas caught all five of his targets for 46 yards after Olsen left the game Sunday. Thomas gets the Browns in Week 14, and they have allowed four touchdowns to tight ends over the last four games.
