Adam Ronis opens the second hour of the show talking about how he will be enjoying the NBA All-Star break, and tells people to play DFS golf and hockey over the weekend to fill the NBA DFS void. Adam talks about some news coming out of the Phillies spring training, and wonders how the lineup will look in 2019, citing how this could influence how he drafts players like Cesar Hernandez and J.T. Realmuto. Joe Pisapia joins the show to talk about his top advice from his 2019 Fantasy Baseball Black Book. Adam finishes the show looking at some of the best, and more questionable, picks from the LABR draft.

HOUR 1

Dr. Roto and Adam Ronis open the show with Doc telling Adam about an issue with his fantasy baseball league, as two teams have dropped out of the draft, and Adam tries to give him some solutions to his issue. The guys argue if making 2-for-1 trades is beneficial, or will become a detriment for fantasy rosters. The guys go over auction draft strategy, with both agreeing you need to figure out if people are buying high or low on the top players; Adam gives the example that Mike Trout went low at $43 in last year’s draft.

Adam Ronis opens the second hour of the show looking at some tips for fantasy baseball drafts, including keeping in touch with your commissioner about certain point scoring you may have questions about. Andrea LaMont joins the show to talk drafting Javier Baez in the first round, explaining he has the bat power and stolen base ability to net a top 10 pick. Adam questions Andrea drafting Trevor Bauer, as she explains she has to back the fact that she thinks he is the best pitcher in baseball. Adam finishes the hour giving his top picks for the final night of NBA DFS, before heading in to the All-Star break.

Dr. Roto and Adam Ronis open the show talking about how they find Valentine’s Day to be too commercialized; this point is made valid when Producer, Chris Bivona, tells the guys about his flower fiasco. The guys go on to talk about other things that are too expensive, including movies, sporting events, and weddings. Tim McCleod of Prospect 361 joins the show to talk about the LABR Mix draft, and what to make of Bryce Harper’s fantasy value falling in the draft. Dr. Roto and Adam Ronis open the show looking at some of Dr. Roto’s picks in LABR mixed draft, including spending up on Aaron Nola and, and how Dr. Roto waited on closers, especially with Adam saying teams are moving to closer-by-committee. Adam Ronis starts the second hour talking about Shohei Ohtani possibly returning the the Angels rotation and outfield as early as May, but also wonders how much playing time he will get as a pitcher, and a fielder. Adam also looks at the list of suitors for Bryce Harper, and says he should steer clear of the Giants, and their pitcher friendly ballpark. Scott Pianowski of Yahoo! Sports joins the show to talk about his strategy for tonight’s LABR mixed baseball draft, and to explain how he likes to diversify his DFS play to other sports, outside of baseball and football. Adam finishes the show giving his top picks for the night in NBA DFS.

HOUR 1

Dr. Roto and Adam Ronis open the show looking at how to structure drafting by position, with Dr. Roto saying 3rd base is a mess, and Adam saying he will wait until 8th or 9th round to take a top closer. Speaking about closers, the guys explain why taking top closers like Edwin Diaz could be an issue, citing how even for the top pitchers, the position is a revolving door on almost every team. The guys figure out what the Steelers will do with Antonio Brown, who publicly said he is ready to move on from Pittsburgh. Adam and Dr. Roto also make the argument that Kyler Murray’s small stature will not hurt his play in the NFL, citing that there are plenty of quarterbacks over 6 ft. tall, that are not at the talent level of the Heisman Trophy winner. The guys finish the hour looking at if Manny Machado would be best fit with the Phillies.

Adam Ronis starts the second hour recapping the biggest news of the day, including Kareem Hunt signing with the Browns, and also looks at some fantasy baseball drafts he was apart of over the weekend. Gregg Jewett of Fantasy Alarm joins the show to look at Francisco Lindor’s calf injury, and how it will effect his draft value, and where you should draft your top shortstop, knowing Lindor will be out most of Spring Training, if not the first month of the season. Adam finishes the show giving his top picks for the night in NBA DFS.

Dr. Roto and Adam Ronis open the show talking about the breaking news of the Cleveland Browns signing Kareem hunt, calling the move a surprise in that the Browns did not need a running back (Nick Chubb), and the organization will get unwanted attention by signing Hunt, who will be suspended for his role in the assault of a woman at a Cleveland hotel; Dr. Roto finds solace in the fact that Hunt’s contract is only a 1-year deal. The guys talk about Kyler Murray saying he is ready to for the NFL lifestyle, and wonder which team will benefit the most by drafting the undersized, but highly talented Heisman winner; Dr. Roto also wonders if Murray, down the line, would revert back to baseball. The guys finish the hour citing that between bad salaries, and concussion issues show that NFL owners don’t care about their players, and never will.

On the other side, Adam gives credit to the Rams defense, and how they were able to come back from a 13-0 deficit in the first quarter.
