Hope anyone that read the Forum last week cashed!  I don’t get much feedback but would appreciate it if my readers (guess I can call you my readers) let me know how they did.

This week, we are South of the Border (not the one near Myrtle Beach) in Playa De Carmen, Mexico.  The El Camaleon course.  This course is SHORT by PGA standards coming it at around 6,900 yards.  Don’t focus on the bombers!  But, if you have a bomber that is accurate – i.e. Gary Woodland and Rickie Fowler – that’s not a bad place to start your lineup.

Guys who play this course well:  Charles Howell III (CH3), Gary Woodland (last two years), and Rickie Fowler (although it’s only a 2nd last year…..but it is a 2nd).

Remember, on DK, if you go for two guys above $10,000 you will need to hit the balance of your team in the $7500 range.  However, guys in the $7500 to $9000 range this week can give you a good balanced lineup as opposed to the start-and-scrubs approach (I have one lineup with Fowler and Woodland, but the balance of my lineup is guys that average $6950 – “Stars & Scrubs”)

As a slightly different approach this week, I’m going to give you my 3-4 favorite guys in each price range:

$10,000 & up:        Fowler, Woodland, Finau  (Spieth may be a good low-owned option since he had disappointed lately)

$9,000 – $9,900:  CH3, Cameron Champ, Zach Johnson and Grillo.

$8,000 – $8,900:  JB Holmes, Niemann, Sam Ryder & Abraham Ancer (as a “homer”).   I also like Kuchar but he hasn’t been Kuchar-like for a while now.  So, if I have him, it won’t be in a lot of lineups.

$7,000 – $7,900:  Sungjae Im (I love this guy! ), Pat Perez, Charley Hoffman and Kevin Kisner (although I’m leery since this is his first outing of the new season)

$6,900 & lower (LONGSHOTS):  Danny Lee ($6900), Whee Kim ($6800), Seth Reeves ($6500), Rich Werenski ($6400), Joel Dahmen ($6800) and…………………………the “if he hits, he’ll be less than 5% owned……… Norman Xiong ($6300)

Good luck!  Hit ’em straight and long (oh, wait, not necessary this week)!   BE CAREFUL… I’VE HEARD THAT BRONSON BURGOON HAS WITHDRAWN SO GET HIM OUT OF YOUR LINEUPS IF YOU’VE SE THEM ALREADY!
